The heart of every edition of the magazine, the Pre-School Diary, is always the centre spread and consists of a day-by-day list of what is happening for parents/carers and their pre-school children in the area. As far as we are aware this list has never been fully compiled before.
Beyond that we have also compiled a similar diary for older children - a list of Out-Of-School clubs; Cubs, Brownies, Sports clubs etc. This list is by no means complete but we add to it as and when we are informed about the clubs. Listing in both sections is FREE
The Out & About section is also an important integral part of the magazine. We believe there is no better way to find out what a local attraction is really like, from a parents point of view, other than to ask other parents who have been. Can you get a pushchair round? Are there adequate changing facilities? Is it suitable for very young children? What are the eating facilities like? Etc. All questions not normally answered in the tourist brochures.
